I’m a child of many backgrounds — born in Nicaragua, but raised in America.  I grew up in New Orleans, left it to go to college, came back, left for a while after Katrina, came back, left again — and now I’m back here.  I’m studying Social Work over at SUNO.  But my interests are as varied as the ingredients in a pot of gumbo.

I talk too much about sports; most notably Arsenal Football Club and the New Orleans Saints and Hornets.  I also spend too much time thinking about books and music and movies.  I think too lyrically and I write as anything but a scientist — even though I used to be one.

If there’s anything else you want to know, just ask.

  1. I have also left new orleans three times and come back.

    • And every time I’ve left, it’s only reinforced my desire to not leave again. After last time, it’s going to take winning a lottery, marrying a supermodel or alien abduction to make me move.
